Jason Major is the creative force behind Inkwell Communications, serving as the Creative Director and Senior Graphic Designer for over 20 years, offering services that range from layout and design to photography, illustration, copywriting, and more. His expertise in client relations and creative problem-solving adds a splash of artistry to every project.
With experience spanning national brands, Jason’s ink covers everything from print collateral and large-scale environmental graphics to product design and digital campaigns across web, social media, and streaming platforms.
When he’s not making bold strokes for Inkwell, Jason wears another creative hat. He is an image editor for the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, where he transforms raw data from NASA’s telescopes—like Hubble, James Webb, and Chandra X-ray—into breathtaking visuals for public releases. He’s also an Astronomy Ambassador for the Providence Foundation and a dedicated birder and nature photographer, always ready to capture the world’s wonders, one image at a time.
Kristen O’Grady is the creative mind and founding spirit behind Inkwell Communications, a full-service advertising agency and design firm that’s been making bold marks since 1994. Specializing in education and healthcare—colleges, universities, schools, and beyond—Inkwell dives deep into each brand’s story, delivering campaigns that stick.
With offices in both Providence and New York, Kristen and her team have left their inky fingerprints on projects for Saint Peter’s University, Ramapo College, Rutgers University, Caldwell University, Felician University, Roger Williams University, Notre Dame of Maryland University, Loyola Blakefield School, Fordham Preparatory School and more.
An artist, entrepreneur, and lover of good causes, Kristen doesn’t just stop at business. She’s on the board of Providence Haiti Outreach, supporting 800 children at St. Dominique School in Marigot, Haiti, and serves as board secretary for Arcade Providence, a historic gem-turned-hub for micro-loft living and creative ventures. Most recently, Kristen was a graduate of the 23rd cohort of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 small businesses program.
