Our work for the Lincoln School, an independent college preparatory school for girls located in Providence, Rhode Island, included a viewbook and redesign of the school’s logo. Drawing on its Quaker heritage, Lincoln School focuses on character and values, as well as knowledge, simplicity, cooperation, mutual respect, and nonviolent resolution of conflict. The logo redesign incorporated elements of the helmet worn by Minerva, the Roman patron goddess of wisdom and sponsor of the arts, as well as the Quaker values of “Love, Loyalty, and Lowliness.”
